What makes an education consultant “top” for your child

A top consultant isn’t the one with the biggest banner. It is the one who knows the details of your child’s course – the entrance exam, the counselling process, the colleges worth choosing and the mistakes to avoid. A student aiming for B.Sc Nursing needs very different advice from one aiming for computer science engineering or MBBS in Uzbekistan.

That is why College Seva guides course by course. Below is how we help for each major path.

First, match the course to the +2 group

+2 groupCourses commonly open to you
Biology / Bio-MathsMBBS, BDS, AYUSH (BSMS, BAMS, BHMS), nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, allied health sciences, agriculture, life sciences – and engineering if Maths was studied
Computer Science / MathsEngineering (B.E./B.Tech), B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, B.Sc Maths/Physics, architecture (with the required entrance)
CommerceB.Com and its specialisations, BBA, CA/CMA/CS foundations, banking and finance courses, integrated law
Arts / HumanitiesB.A. programmes, integrated law, journalism, social work, design and hospitality courses

Not sure about your options? Our course finder on the College Seva page shows what you can study after +2 by group.

Course-by-course: how we guide

MBBS, BDS and AYUSH (India)

Admission depends on NEET-UG, conducted by the National Testing Agency. We help students understand where their score stands, how All India Quota and Tamil Nadu state quota counselling work, whether the 7.5% government school reservation applies, and how to fill choices realistically – including government, self-financing and deemed university options.

MBBS abroad

For NEET-qualified students who want to study medicine overseas, we guide university selection in countries such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Vietnam and China, with a written check against India’s NMC rules. Full details are on our study abroad consultant page.

Engineering

Most Tamil Nadu engineering seats are filled through TNEA counselling based on a cutoff out of 200. We help with registration, certificate verification and – most importantly – the order of college and branch choices, which decides where you land.

Nursing and allied health sciences

B.Sc Nursing, physiotherapy, medical lab technology, radiology, cardiac technology and other allied health courses have good job demand but very different admission processes. We confirm the current year’s process and help students choose recognised colleges.

Pharmacy

B.Pharm and Pharm.D suit students interested in medicines, hospitals and the pharma industry. We explain the difference, the duration and the career paths before you choose.

Law

Five-year integrated law (B.A. LL.B. and similar) is open after +2 in any group. We explain the Tamil Nadu admission route and national options such as CLAT for national law universities.

Arts, science, commerce and management

These courses offer flexibility and lower costs, and can lead to strong careers when combined with the right skills. We help choose the college and specialisation – and plan the postgraduate or job path from day one.

One process for every course

  1. Profile: group, marks, interests, budget, location preference.
  2. Options: a shortlist of courses and colleges with the route to each.
  3. Plan: dates, documents and entrance or counselling steps on one page.
  4. Support: applications, counselling and reporting – until the student joins.
